Hello friends! Here’s an update from our Float Kickstarter on its progress.
The Float Album is printed!
Yesterday Shelley and I picked up the Float Soundtrack CDs from the printers! They look and sound amazing. For the backers who chose rewards with the soundtrack, these CDs will ship with the book.
Here’s a look at the final product:
I’m so proud of Victor Guest’s hard work on this album. And Shelley Noel’s incredibly design work. She put together the album cover and disc design. Wonderful collaboration.
Float’s Final Proof Approved!
We approved the final proof with the printer last week. Now it’s time to wait as Float will be printed and then shipped to us. We are schedule to begin shipping earlier than expected. Books should now start to ship to you in October!
New Podcast Interview
I was recently invited to be a guest on The Way Station podcast and I had a great conversation with them about Float and generalized anxiety disorder. I love having an open discussion about anxiety and mental health. Plus, it’s a very entertaining show! My segment starts at the 55:32 mark.
To commemorate how special this whole experience has been for me, I had my good friend, Buz Hasson (co-creator of The Living Corpse), tattoo a Float-inspired design on my arm. Buz is the the artist I go to when I get tattooed and his ability to translate my original art into tattoos is phenomenal. He works at the incredible Seance Tattoo Parlor in Bensalem, PA.
I’ll be back soon with a new update and some new preview art from Float. You can also learn more about the project at our website www.yourglassceiling.com.
